Frequently Asked Questions

1. How does Core Stix work?

Core Stix can be used to effectively work every muscle group in the body in a way that you have never before experienced. Core Stix trains the body in an upright position or functional position, so that your core muscles are engaged in just about any exercise you do. This allows you to get the absolute most out of your workout! You can change how much your core is engaged or how much you focus on your target muscles by changing your foot position, posture, or even hand grip. The rods of our patented workout system provide progressive resistance (which is better for your joints), providing maximum resistance at the peak of your motion. Core Stix provides one of the most challenging and exciting workouts available anywhere.

2. I am just starting to exercise – is Core Stix right for me?

Absolutely! We have created customized workouts for beginners as well as intermediate and advanced fitness enthusiasts. Core Stix incredibly versatile patented design makes Core Stix the most adaptable piece of equipment on the planet! It can be used by any user at every skill level, and it allows your workouts to progress as you get in better shape with Core Stix

3. I have heard that Core Stix provides circuit training. What does this mean?

Core Stix can be set up with multiple rods in the base at one time. For example, one set of rods can be positioned for a chest press, one set can be set up for a back pull exercise, and a third set can be set up for squats, split leg squats, dead lifts, calves, bent over rows, or whatever. This means that you can move from one exercise to the next in a matter of seconds, so your workout keeps moving and you get the most out of every second on Core Stix.

4. How many times a week do I have to work out on Core Stix to get in shape?

Just 30 minutes a day 3-4 days a week at a fast pace can make a tremendous improvement to your fitness level. Of course, you should always consult a physician before engaging in any exercise program.

5. Can I build muscle and burn fat using Core Stix?

Core Stix provides challenging workouts to help you hit whatever fitness goals you have, from building muscle and strength to toning your midsection or entire body. Core Stix is extremely versatile and your workouts can be customized to fit your goals.

6. Can my husband/wife and I both use the same Core Stix System?

Sure, but maybe not at the same time! Core Stix comes with a variety of rods, each providing different resistance levels suitable for a variety of users, including you and your spouse, partner, or significant other.

7. Does the product come assembled or do I have to put it together?

Core Stix comes assembled. Just open the box and go!

8. How much resistance do the rods offer?

Core Stix offers a variety of resistance levels, suitable for any user. The lightest rods are perfect for those new to strength training. The heaviest resistance rods are used by some of the strongest professional athletes in the world, and provide enough resistance for just about any user.

9. How much does Core Stix weigh?

The base weighs approximately 58 pounds and the rods vary in weight from just over 1 pound each for the lightest resistance rods to almost 4 pounds each for the heaviest resistance rods.

10. How easy is it to move Core Stix around?

Core Stix is designed for transportability. The Core Stix base comes outfitted with conveniently positioned handles on the sides and the back of the base so it is easy transport to wherever you would like to use or store it. Wheels are also available on some models to make it even easier to move around. Core Stix can easily be moved to the corner of your gym, garage, bedroom, against the wall, in the closet, under the bed, wherever!

11. How big is Core Stix?

Core Stix is very compact for its capabilities. The base measures just under 30 inches wide by 59 inches long. The platform is about 2 inches tall, not including the arcs, which are about 3 inches tall above the top of the platform

12. Can the rods become disengaged if I pull on them too hard?

It is possible that the rods can become disengaged if not used properly, potentially causing damage to the equipment or bodily injury. Generally, the rods can only be removed from the arcs when the rods are in a relaxed state. Avoid pulling the rods away from the arcs during use to minimize or eliminate the risk of them accidentally coming out, and always be sure that the rods are fully inserted during use.

13. Will the Core Stix rods ever break?

Core Stix are designed to work within a bending range of 0 to 60 degrees, and have been undergone significant research, development, and testing to ensure user safety and longevity. The rods are designed with special reinforcement to prevent breakage, if used as directed. We warranty the rods for a period of one year from date of purchase, and the platform is warranted for a period of two years from the date of purchase.

14. Where is Core Stix made?

We are very proud to say that Core Stix is made in the USA. In fact, every aspect of Core Stix, from conception, design, engineering, research and development, and testing have all take place in the USA.
